One morning Jonas and I took a long run upp to the abandoned city and to the medieval castle. It was way up on a mountain with a fantastic view. Tried to get back there with the girls today but unfortunately the bus did not go that way. Had a city tour and headed to the beach instead.
The town (the only one) on this island looks really different from others in Greece. The houses are in the style of neo classicism in many colors and were built when the island got rich by fishing sponge.
Time to go to bed. The ferry to Karpathos leaves at 5.20 in the morning...
