Kom nyss tillbaks fran en snokeltrip. Vi skippade dykningen denna dag aven om det verkade roligt. Man sag mycket aven med snorkel. T.o.m. havsskoldpadda! Pa vag in till stranden med baten sag vi hoppande delfiner. Nu ar det lite paus i skuggan. Forsoker ladda upp bilder till Google+ men det gar forfarligt langsamt... Far se om det blir nagra bilder har snart.
Just came back from a snorkeling trip by boat. Didn't feel like diving today even though it seemed like fun. Did see a lot from the sufrace. Even a turtle! Could dive down a bit to chat with it ;) Also saw dolphins. Trying to upload pictures now. Let's see if it works...

In paradise!
Hejsan!
Nu har vi varit i Thailand nagra dagar. Som ni marker har jag hallit mig undan internet... Vi borjade pa Tonsai Bay nara Krabi. Det var mysigt dar och vi provade att klattra pa de haftiga vaggarna. Vi tog det valdigt mycket lugnare an expertklattrarna som klattrade pa helt galna vaggar! Boendet var kanske inte sa bra som vantat... Det har vi dock kompenserat nu nar vi kommit till Kho Phi Phi. Har bor vi dyrt och fint pa ett paradis-resort! Passar pa att njta som bara den! Ska vara har 5 natter totalt och snorklar och slappar. Barnen ar glada och leker med kusinerna. Trevligt att resa ihop med svager och svagerska.
Tog just en thaimassage fran himmelriket! Far se om det blir nagon dykning eller om vi nojer oss med att snorkla... Antagligen drar vi oss till Kho Lanta senare, men det ar inte bestamt annu. We have been here in Thailand a few days. As you have noticed I haven't been on the Internet until now. We started at Tonsai bay near Krabi. There we tried some climbing on the cool rocks. We took it much easier than the maniac experts climbing at totally mad places! The bungalows weren't really what we hoped for though... That is a lot better now here at Kho Phi Phi where we stay at an expensive paradise resort! We are really relaxing and enjoying ourself. The kids are happy and love playing with their cousins. It's nice travelling together with family.
Just had a thai massage from heaven! We are not sure if we will go diving or if we're happy snorkeling. We'll see. After this, we might travel to Kho Lanta, but that's not really decided yet. Unfortunatelly it's not possible to upload pictures here. Hopefully I can do that later.

Thailand - nedräkning pågår...
Som tidigare nämnt så rusar livet på och vi hinner knappt tänka på att vi snart reser till Thailand en månad! Vi har dock biljetter, boende för jul och nyår, pass och vaccinationer, så det känns som om det inte är så mycket att fixa - man kan väl packa på nätterna? Känns rätt ok att tänka på att vi ska spendera julhelgen här (http://www.tonsaibay.co.th) och klättra. Nyår är planerat till Phi Phi och snorkla och/eller dyka. Snacka om semester! :-) Resten är obokat och vi tänker luffa runt lite planlöst och mindre luxuöst. Jag ska försöka blogga lite då (så slipper jag skriva vykort! :-))

As previously mentioned, life is rolling fast at the moment and we barely have time to think about that we will soon travel to Thailand for a month! However, we have tickets, accommodation for the holidays, passport and vaccinations, so it feels as if it is not so much to plan - one can pack at night, right? Feels quite all right to think that we're going to spend Christmas here (http://www.tonsaibay.co.th) climbing. New Year is scheduled to Phi Phi with snorkeling and/or diving. Talk about vacation! :-) The rest is not planned and we intend to backpack around a bit aimlessly and less luxurious. I'll try to blog a little (so I will not have to write postcards :-))

Xperiathon done!
En novemberdag som den här med kuling och ösregn lockar ju verkligen till att springa en halvmara! Maken och jag bestämde oss för att vara med i Xperiathon (www.xperiathon.com) och det käcka med denna tävling var att man själv bestämde var man ville springa den! Först hade vi tänkt springa ned längs kusten, men västlig kuling gjorde ju att man föredrog medvind. Vi bestämde oss för att dra österut och sluta vid något ställe med mat och kollektivtrafik hem. Det fick bli Allum/Partille centrum. Det krävdes en liten förrunda i Majorna och en liten extrasväng i Partille. Det inledande ösregnet som gjorde oss blöta lyckades inte knäcka oss och den fantastiska regnbågen var uppiggande. Sedan blev det uppehåll det mesta av vägen och vi tog det lugnt och kunde prata och pausa lite under vägens gång. Ett trevligt långpass som slutade på ett café med köttbullemacka och kaffe. Personalen knäppförklarade oss när vi berättade att vi sprungit från Majorna :-). Sedan blev det pendeln hem och en varm dusch. Efter en god middag blir det nu slappkväll i soffan.

A November day like this, with heavy wind and pouring rain, it's really temping to run a half marathon! The husband and I decided to join the Xperiathon (www.xperiathon.com) and the good thing with this race was that one could decide where to run it! First, we had planned to run down the coast, but the westerly gale made us change that plan. We decided to go east and finish at a place with food and public transport home. We chose Partille center. The initial pouring rain that made us wet, did not break us and the amazing rainbow was exhilarating. Then the rain took a pause most of the way and we took it easy and could talk and pause a bit along the way too. A nice long weekend run that ended in a cafe with a meatball sandwich and coffee. The staff said that we were crazy when we told them that we had run from Majorna :-). After a second cup of coffee we took the train back home to a hot shower. After a good dinner, the plan is to stay in the couch all evening.

Sorry!
Inte blir det mycket bloggande inte! Men livet rullar på och det är fullt upp. Fixar med båten, hjälper till och målar lite hos svärmor, springer, planerar inför Thaliandsresan, för att inte tala om jobbet... och idag var vi faktiskt och klättrade hela familjen hela eftermiddagen. Våra trevliga grannar spontanbjöd in oss på bullkväll och vips var helgen slut...

Life runs along with boat work, helping out painting at my mother in laws house, running, planning the Thailand trip, not to mention working... and today the whole family went climbing all afternoon. This evening our nice neighbours invited us over spontaniously and suddenly; this weekend had passed...

Ett medelålders par...
När maken fyllde 40 var det ju läge att göra något trevligt, trots att han avböjt festligheter och dyra weekendresor känns lite mycket såhär före Thailand. Det var alltså läge att fixa en weekend på hemmaplan! Lördagen inleddes med stor frukost på sängen med sång och paket. Sedan fick maken en lista på vad han skulle ta på och ta med för dagens aktiviteter. Mao en överaskningsdag! Vi åkte till Kviberg och hann med en liten tur på marknaden och fick inhandlat en kaffepanna för arabiskt kaffe. Sedan började det egentliga äventyret när det var dags för en topprepskurs på Klätterdomen http://www.klatterdomen.se/index.html. Det var roligt och häftigt och vi lärde oss säkra och hann klättra en hel del. Barnen fick klättra på egen hand på boulderingvägg, vilket de tyckte var jättekul! Sedan blev det picknick med goda grejer, mojsiga ostar, champagne och kaka. Därpå var det dags att dra vidare. Födelsedagsbarnet blev nöjd när han kom till nästa aktivitet som var av det lugnare slaget; massage och bastu och uppsnyggning. Sedan hann vi ta en drink och två på HemmaHos innan det var dags att njuta av Thailand i förskott på Restaurang Moon http://www.moonthai.se/v/index.php/galleri som är ett riktigt härligt ställe!
Nästa dag värmde vi upp med en morgonlöptur i fina Slottskogen. Sedan fick barnen klara sig själva med kompis och grannföräldrar till hands och vi drog till fortsättning på klätterkursen och efter examen fick vi våra topprepskort! Hurra! Sedan klättrade vi en stund själva tills armarna gick av... Eftersom vi var utåt de östra stadsdelarna passade vi på att äta en riktigt god falafel innan det blev en biokväll med en romantisk komedi; Crazy, Stupid, Love. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1570728/ som faktiskt var mycket bättre än väntat.
Sammanfattningsvis en roligt helg med en efterföljande träningsvärk som heter duga!

When the husband turned 40, it was time to do something nice, although he didn't want a party, and expensive weekend trips wasn't really a choice this close to the Thailand-vacation. Therefore the choice was a surprise weekend at home! Saturday began with a large breakfast in bed with singing and packages. Then the birthday-boy (or elderly man) got a list of what to put on and what to pack in a bag for the day. We went to Kviberg and had time for a little tour on the fantastic market and bought a coffee pot of Arabic coffee. Then the real adventure began, when it was time for a climbing course at Klätterdomen http://www.klatterdomen.se/index.html. It was fun and awesome and we learned to secure eachother and managed to climb a lot. The children climbed on their own on the bouldering walls, which they thought was great! Then we had a picnic in the sun, with lots of good food, champagne and cake. The birthday-boy was happy when we arrived to the next activity and he realised ti was massage and sauna. We had time for a drink or two at cosy HemmaHos before it was time to enjoy Thailand in advance at Restaurant Moon http://www.moonthai.se/v/index.php/galleri which is a really great place!
The next day we warmed up with a morning run in beautiful Slottsskogen. Then the kids spent the day by themselves with a friend (and neighbors at stan-by) and we went to the continuation of the climbing course. After graduation, we recieved our certificates that lets us climb on our own in all Swedish halls! Hooray! After that we ofcourse had to climb on our own until our arms were useless ... Since we were in the eastern districts we took the opportunity to eat really good falafel before moovienight. The romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1570728/ was actually was much better than expected.
In conclusion, a fun weekend and arm pain that will stay for quite a while!

På tu man hand
När halva familjen var på annat håll fick lilla J och jag en dag för oss själva. Vi passade på att turista i vår hemstad genom att åka Paddanbåten, titta på djuren på Naturhistoriska och strosa i Slottsskogen. Efter en god middag tittar vi på actionkomedi. Efter barnläggdags ska mamman slappa framför en romantisk film! <3
Half the family was elsewhere today so little J and I the day for ourselves. We took the opportunity to be tourists in our hometown by jumping on a sightseeing boat, watching the animals at the Nature Museum and stroll around the Slottsskogen. After a good dinner, we are now watching an action-comedy. After bedtime-fore-children, the mother will relax in the sofa with a romantic movie! <3

Dramatik på lugna vatten!
Stannar till i Utkäften igen på väg hem och tänkte vara ute 2 dagar till. Tyvärr passade lilla J på att trilla ner i en dypöl på berget och skära sig illa. Med hjälp av sjukvårdsupplysningen tejpade fadern ihop barnet - med goda råd hojtade från den lätt avsvimmade sjukvårdsutbildade modern. Barnet är förhoppningsvis riktigt ihopsatt men vi drar hem imorgon och tittar in hos en doktor för säkerhets skull...

With help from a nurse over the phone (and good advise shouted from the fainted mother in bed) the father managed to tape the foot together. Hopefully it's put together right, but we head home tomorrow so we can see a doctor just to be sure...

After a really rainy night we went to Ramsö to take shelter for tonight's turning wind. We have water and electricity for one or two nights more before we need to go to a harbour with more facilities. Hygien levels are getting really low... ;) Here we have a cookie-break on the walk that is far to long according to the children.

Partyhamnen
Hamnade i partyhamnen Grebbestad där kaptenen har hämtat sig från sin förkylning. Nu hoppas vi bara att vi andra klarar oss... Här är det high life, men man sover rätt gott ändå. Får se vart det bär hän härnäst!

Skräpväder...
This is a way to spend time in harbour in booring weather. Yesterday was quite a bad day that ended well. For instance we had engine failure. Luckily we sailed by an Yanmar-engine-company that were able to replace the worn-out part in half an hour! And on the way here to Grundsund we could tow a much larger Danish boat with engine-failure in to harbour! We will soon have dinner at the restaurant a few meters from here. Spending a night in harbour in bad weather can have some good with it... ;)

Utkäften - Svanesund
Had a lovely evening in a little bay outside Marstrand. Today we head north in such a slow pace that all of us could take a swim. Time for a short stop in Stenungsund for some food shopping and then we head towards Svanesund to visit friends.
