The last lazy day and evening on Tilos. Beautiful beach and perfect water for swim training. A bonus to have so beautiful surroundings and to look at funny fish when swimming.
Full moon tonight.
Tomorrow afternoon we take the ferry to the even smaller island Halki. Read that it is very hard to find accommodation, so we booked an expensive room through Internet instead of taking it more ad hoc. We only had two to choose between. Hope that it will be nice.
We managed to take out some cash from the only ATM-machine on the island so we are getting along so far, but it is worrying to follow the news about Greece at the moment. Sad. Hope that it will work out in the end.
Last night we saw a group of people coming on a truck assembling outside the small police station in the harbour. I think it was refugees from Syria that must have come by boat. They seemed to be well and it looked like they were taken well care of by the police, a priest or Muslim representative and the room booker that seemed to arrange accommodation. It was nice to see considering all horrible things on the news. Seemed like they picked a good island... Or maybe I misunderstood the whole thing, I don't know...
