Det hade ju varit roligt med lite djungel tankte vi och tog oss hela vagen ned till Thailands sodra grans. Traska runt lite i skog, titta pa vattenfall och grottor och kanske se ett och annat vilt djur! Men det ville isg inte riktigt. Val framme i National Park Thaleban http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thale_Ban_National_Park efter en lang resa med bat och bil, sa blev vi inkvarterade i bungalow. Det var bara det att regnet oste ned. Och da menar jag oste ned! Oavbrutet! Hela tiden! Forsade ned liksom hela tiden, hela eftermiddagen... Vid gott hopp var vi och tankte att det ar en dag imorgon ocksa. Ja da borjade det osa upp ur lilla J:s mage... Efter en inte sa harlig natt med oskraks och osregn(och myrinvasion i toaletten, + lite andra smadjur som forsokta ta sig in i bungalowen, fann vi oss i en taxi norrut-fortfarande i osregn. Det var bara att ge upp regnskogshajkandet och ta hand om den lilla sjuklingen. Vi har checkat in pa Trangs lyxhotel (billigaste rummet, men anda!). Lilla J har borjat hamta sig och har lyckats ata tva skivor toast ikvall. Hoppas att de far stanna kvar. Imorgon har vi bokat resa nagon timme vasterut och ett resort pa stranden ett par dagar dar vi ska piggna till och sola i det forhoppningsvis forbattrade vadret. Forresten hann vi med en 5-minuters hajk imorse. Vi tog en liten avstickare till ett vattenfall vid vagen fran var bungalow. Titta pa de sma sota matarlarverna! Jaha, det var visst blodiglar som vill ata upp oss!!! Man kanner sig som en ratt cool foralder nar man skrapar blodiglar av sig sjalv och sina barn! (Vi behover inte namna hur hysteriskt jag skrek samtidigt...)

It would have been fun with a bit of jungle hiking, we thought, and travelled all the way to Thailand's southern border. Hike around a bit in the forest, look at waterfalls and caves, and perhaps see one or two wild animals! But that did not happen. Once in the National Park Thaleban http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thale_Ban_National_Park after a long journey by boat and car, we were accommodated in a bungalow. Fine. But: It was just that the rain poured down. And I mean poured! Uninterrupted! All the time! Poured down all the time, all afternoon ... Keeping up hopes, we thought that tomorrow is another day. Then dinner started pouring up from little J's belly ... After a not so restful night with vomiting and pouring rain (and a mad ant invasion in the toilet, + some other small animals that tried to get in to our bungalow), we found ourselves in a taxi to the north (still in pouring rain). There was no choice than to give up the rainforest hike and take care about our little sick girl.We have now checked in on Trang's luxury hotel (cheapest room, but still!). Little J has begun to recover and have managed to eat two slices toast tonight. I hope that they remain in her stomach... Tomorrow we are heading one hour west and a resort on the beach where we'll spend two days to perk up under the sun (hopefully). By the way we managed a 5-minute jungle hike this morning. we took a small detour to a waterfall on the way from our bungalow. Look at the cute little worm: Well, that was actually leeches that wanted to eat us! You feel like a cool parent when you scrape leeches of your childrens and your own feet! (No need to mention my hysterical screaming while doing it... )
